Hello...

I figured I might as well introduce myself. I am Anne, serving in the U.S. Army as a member of the Military Police Corps. I am studying to become a warrior, bard, historian (I'm also in College, I'll get there), furthering my blacksmithing/metallurgy, lingering around my family to learn more on my brewer traditions, and always studying my religious and spiritual studies as I continue to practice my Paganism. I am also an artisan, wood-carver, candle-maker, book-binder, leatherworker, fourth generation herbalist, gardener, jeweler, poet, and other things rolled into yours truly. Not much else to say - I think too much, I read too much, and I don't get off post much.

I discovered Paganism at a young age: 11 going on 12. I didn't grow up in a religious household, the first spiritual and religious experiences I had were Pagan. I practice magic, and witchcraft; and my practices are predominantly solitary. It is a blend of German, Breton and French influences - it is what it is.... Whatever it is.

If you want to contact me, I'd love to hear from you. But be warned - ask a question and you will get an answer. I am an introverted extrovert, I tend to mind my own affairs and not say much  - but if you come to me and ask, I will answer bluntly. Best policy, if you ask me.

So what the hell am I doing lately? Truly, not hard to answer. Going when Uncle Sam wants me to go, well... More along the lines of being volunTOLD to go - honestly. But I digress, I like the military life thus far - so far, so good.

Barracks life is interesting - so many strangers living in one building, working together and forming a sort of disfunctional family. Considering the idea of a family is alien to me - this notion is something I'm willing to experience for the sake thereof. For many things - one never knows until one tries it.

Do I ever miss home? What is home, save for where you hang your hat at night? That's a good question, and for tonight, I'll leave it be. I'll try to update my website as time permits.
